New Burlesque Supper Club in Cape Town
03/02/10
Get to Vaudeville for mischievous, magical mayhem, eye-candy and magical circus acts -- the Mother City's newest and hottest entertainment destination and most sought after nightspot. An outstanding burlesque show incorporates slick acts that feature local and international performers in a mesmerising multi-genre Vaudevillian experience.
Bboys, acro-adagio dancers, a spectacular hula hoop fire act, vertical pole runners, aerial acrobats, tap dancers, quirky floor performers and more, are thrilling patrons nightly. Irit Noble, well known to Capetonian audiences, compères the show, backed by the To Do Sisters and a quartet of very sexy showgirls.
Vaudeville is a 340-seater supper club venue that offers a spectacular performance together with a three-course dinner. Jinx provide some of the live music - a blend of circus Balkan and oompah. The venue also incorporates the popular Moroccan-themed Fez Bar and Club that has been successfully re-launched by the Vaudeville team.
Performances run Tuesdays to Saturdays at 8:15pm with guests to be seated by 7:45pm. Tickets cost R350 each, and R395 for those seated in the booth section. The price includes a welcome drink, the show, a three-course meal and free entry into The Fez. bookings@vaudeville.co.za or 0861 787737.
Vaudeville and the Fez Club is located at 11 Mechau Street (off lower Bree Street) on the Foreshore in Cape Town. Ample on-street parking with security is available around the venue.
